August 2020 - Why does it always rain on me?

I have to confess that I have been on holiday and not promoted my book. Funnily enough, every time I don't promote my book then hardly anyone buys it.

I can tell you that my holiday was spent in Wales and it rained every day. Alongside the rain, we were battered by gales. Disturbingly, at the end of the trip, the landlady said she was pleased that the weather held up for us. What would the weather have been like if it was bad?

We did get to Portmeirion though, which brightened us up despite the weather. It was great to eat their stunning ice creams, although tricky to simultaneously protect them from the rain. In fact so difficult that my son and I had to have two attempts.

Maybe I'll get back to book stuff next month. Or, maybe I'll spend more time watching the rain and eating ice cream. Who knows?
